Aruba's Caribbean Ocean & Coral Reefs

Photography plays a big part in my life. I love capturing moments and being an avid snorkeler I decided to capture the beauty as I see it under the sea.
Four years have gone by with underwater photography and creating a blog for what I have seen is to be shared for everyone. Aruba's ocean is slowly dying, locals don't seem to know the facts of  the critical matter at hand with our coral reefs dying out and the government is doing little to nothing to protect, preserve and save the reefs surrounding the island.
As everyone knows about the Great barrier Reefs coral dying off due to climate change it is also here in Aruba. This global trend needs attention that is why my family and I  decided to take action in photography and graphing the locations to get the word out and let locals, tourists and the world see what soon will be a destruction of our marine life as we know it.

Sarah and Michael Trupo wed at Eagle Beach

                                                               High School Sweethearts
Sarah and Michael Trupo wed in paradise

EAGLE BEACH- Aruba was the perfect choice for a wedding in paradise for Sarah Abbate  and Michael Trupo. The lovebirds met in their hometown of West Virginia in high school. They were high school sweethearts, in love.  They moved out to Maryland after graduating from West Virginia University over 3 years ago where they currently reside.
Mike proposed to Sarah on their 10th year anniversary, at midnight on New Year's Eve.  The wedding-moon were planned after hearing such great things about Aruba. During the planning they were happy to hear that everyone they had spoke to were in Aruba multiple times.
The wedding ceremony was held at Amsterdam Manor beside Aruba‘s famous fofoti tree.
The evening was magical with a perfect sunset in the horizon. Dinner followed at Passions Restaurant on the beach where they dined under the stars.
“ We certainly were happy with our wedding; everything was amazing thanks to Lissy Lampe of Ceremonies and Celebrations in Aruba who planned everything from afar to a tee. Our photographer Angela Munzenhofer of Bella Aruba Photography did an amazing job at capturing the moments perfectly. We had so much fun at the Trash the Dress session that we will forever embrace that special. day We have these two ladies to thank for making all our dreams come true. We fell in love with the island instantly especially with all there is to see and do!  We are definitely looking forward to planning our next trip”! stated Sarah.

Nate Altes surprises his lovely wife Candice on second anniversary in Aruba.
"Would you marry me all over again" were the words from Nate Altes to his lovely wife Candice as they walked down the lush garden pathway at Radisson Aruba Resort on July 18, 2012. Once seated at La Playa Torchlight for Dinner at 6:30 they were approached by Bridal specialist Lisa Dammerman who introduced herself as PR for Radisson Resort and congratulated them on behalf of their anniversary and as a token the hotel would like to have a photo in our local newspaper. Nate knew that Lisa played it off good as for one week this surprise planning took off to a great start. As they followed Angela up the sidewalk for a photo, Lisa appeared with a bouquet and boutonniere and to Candice's surprise the tears of joy were a great way to start the ceremony. The officiate, Robert Gibson delivered the renewal of vows ceremony as the sun was setting on Aruba’s horizon. Bella Aruba Photography took over with photos on the beach to capture the moment. The celebration begun with a champagne toast and feet in the sand while the lovebirds stared into the breathtaking sunset that overlooked their romantic setting at La Playa with waiter Juancho at their service. They were surprised as well when Juancho recognized from 3 years ago. It is just another reason why they love Aruba.
Nate & Candice were married two years ago in their hometown of Dallas Texas and honeymooned in Bahamas. They knew once they arrived on their honeymoon that it was a mistake not to have booked Aruba because they fell in love a year before with the islands sun, ocean, swaying palm trees and One Happy Island of wonderful people who make you feel at home.

Trash the Dress with Jamie & Luke Baroni

Anyone planning a destination wedding knows finding the right wedding photographer can be a challenge! However, when I first e-mailed Bella Aruba Photography with my questions, I got a prompt reply from Angela. She was so detailed and answered all of my questions so easily (and quickly) that she made the process a breeze! We e-mailed back and forth for almost a year. She shared her advice, photos from her weddings, and really took the time to get to know us. When we arrived in Aruba for our wedding, she was one of the first people there to greet us! We had never met in person, but we had felt as though we had known her for years!  She had made us instantly feel comfortable. I can be a shy person, so that was very important to me!
Our wedding day was absolutely amazing. Angela captured every moment, and went above and beyond all of my expectations. Looking back at my photos now, I can remember every moment of our special day because she captured everything perfectly!
Angela really will go above and beyond for her bride and groom. One perfect example of this, is that we had a Trash the Dress photo shoot scheduled two days after our wedding. Unfortunately, the weather was not on our side. The biggest problem was that Angela was scheduled to leave the island the following day. I was worried we would have to cancel the shoot, but Angela called me up and told me not to worry and she would get us our beautiful pictures. The next day, with only hours before her flight, she took us around the island and took the most AMAZING photos I have ever seen. She was in no rush at all, and sought out the best locations on the island determined to get the most perfect shots. She not only was our photographer, but she became our friend, toured us around the island, snapping away while my husband and I got to be ourselves and had so much fun. She made sure to get all the shots I asked for, ending the day jumping in the beautiful Caribbean water!
Bella Aruba Photography is the best! Because of Angela we have the most gorgeous photos capturing all the best moments of the best week of our lives.
Thank you Angela for making our wedding so special!
